Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design AC/DC power distribution and electrical systems for power modules, IT modules, and data center applications.
Title:Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC
Key Responsibilities
- Design LV switchgear, switchboards, and power distribution systems.
- Develop single-line diagrams, control schemes, equipment specifications, and BOMs.
- Design and integrate UPS, DC power systems, standby generators, lighting, and grounding systems.
- Apply NEC requirements to electrical designs.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent 3D design tools.
- Coordinate with mechanical, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
- Support system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Work on modular electrical systems; modular experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6 10 years of electrical engineering/design experience.
- Strong experience with LV switchgear/switchboard and power distribution.
- Good knowledge of NEC.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering design tools.
Preferred
- Data Center or Power Module experience.
- Modular electrical design experience.
- PE License is a plus, but not required.
