If you are looking for a job where the work you do impacts lives for the better every day, you are in the right place!Position HighlightsWorkable schedule options - typically three to four shifts per weekStudent loan repayment optionsCE/CME support (prorated based on FTE)Location stipendHotel accommodation supportTransportation assistance possibilitiesComprehensive employee benefit optionsJob SummaryOverview: Responsible for providing, managing, and planning direct physical therapy health care for a specified patient population.Reports to: Physical Therapy DirectorDepartment: Physical TherapyBusiness Unit: Sacred Circle Primary CarePatient Care: YesWorker Status: Benefit-Eligible, SalaryHours Per Week: 30 to 40 hours per weekLocation: Wendover ClinicWork Schedule: To be determined: 3-4 days per week, Monday through FridayAdditional Information: Due to the remote location of this position, location stipend, hotel accommodation, and transportation assistance is available as needed for employees working in Wendover, Utah, based on operational needs and availability.The successful candidate:Provides and manages compassionate and patient centered care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.Develops care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.Motivates patients during treatment to help them function optimally.Consults and practices with other health professionals.Directs and coordinates patient physical therapy treatment activities.Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides.Keeps accurate patient records of history and activities regarding patient therapy treatment.Keeps abreast of advancements in physical therapy.Complies with all applicable state/federal laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.Participates in professional development activities.Maintains strict confidentiality.Reads, understands, and adheres to all Sacred Circle Health Care Policies and Procedures.Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values Statements.Other Duties as Assigned.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)License: Valid Utah Physical Therapy License.Other: Interest in working with underserved and tribal populations in an interdisciplinary setting. Well-rounded clinical skills with ability to handle all ages and a full range of diagnosesPreferred RequirementsTwo (2) or more years of physical therapy related experience. Experience/familiarity with pain neuroscience education (PNE). Interest in persistent/chronic pain.
