Description Our walking food tours offer a unique perspective of Boston, and we are always looking for equally unique, passionate individuals to join our team as a guide. You will serve as an ambassador, showcasing what Boston's most vibrant and tasty neighborhoods have to offer, including local food specialties. Tour seasons run March to December. We currently offer experiences in the South End, North End, Fort Point, Chinatown, and a Classic Boston Food Tour downtown. Tours last between 2.5–3 hours and cover about 1 mile of walking. We are currently seeking guides for our Chinatown Culture & Cuisine Tour, with potential openings in other neighborhoods soon. Both weekday and weekend tour shifts are available. Training begins immediately for new guides. Responsibilities Act as an ambassador for Boston, showcasing neighborhoods and food destinations. Lead walking food tours lasting 2.5–3 hours. Engage guests, answer questions, and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Support small, local Boston businesses by highlighting their offerings. Qualifications A passion for all things Boston. A love of local food and urban community. Patience and excellent people skills. A friendly, smiley disposition. Knowledge of and first‑hand experience with the Boston food scene. Familiarity with Boston's Chinatown neighborhood is a plus. Lives in or around Boston, within 10 miles of the tour starting point. Enjoy meeting new people and supporting small, local businesses. Must be able to work some weekends. Compensation Paid a flat rate per tour plus gratuities. With gratuities, guides typically make $50+ per hour per tour. Base salary of $35 per hour. Schedule Weekday and weekend shifts available. Training starts immediately. Availability needed from now through December 2026 and beyond. #J-18808-Ljbffr Voices Boston
