Position Summary

We are on the lookout for an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technician to join our expanding network of imaging professionals who are dedicated to providing unparalleled care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures that not only ensure patient comfort but also deliver crucial information that aids in vital healthcare decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, focusing on abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort, compassionately explaining procedures while honoring their concerns
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare providers to guarantee the highest quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and care for imaging equipment, promptly alerting for any issues
• Maintain precise procedure documentation and patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Remain informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and protocols

Education and Credentials

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
