Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for exactness, identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all processes, mentor new team members, and help uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitized, safe workspace and comply with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
