Bookkeeper (Sage Experience Needed)

Location: On-Site (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000 / year (commensurate with experience) About the Role Are you a seasoned Full Charge Bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment? We are partnering with a premier, high-volume fleet operator to find an experienced Office Manager & Full Charge Bookkeeper to serve as the operational and financial backbone of the office. This isn't a desk-only position tucked away in a back room—it’s a dynamic, dual-impact role where you’ll lead day-to-day general ledger operations, manage fleet compliance, oversee a small office team, and act as the welcoming face of the company for walk-ins and agency partners. What You’ll Be Doing Financial & Accounting Leadership: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, monthly/quarterly/year-end close cycles, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations. Oversee AP and AR workflows and supervise support staff. Compliance & Tax Administration: Handle quarterly federal/state payroll tax returns, W-2/1099 filings, 401(k)/profit-sharing plan administration, and annual commercial insurance package renewals. Fleet & License Oversight: Coordinate DMV fleet license plate renewals, maintain NTA licensing, and manage driver/vehicle compliance documentation folders. Office & Front-of-House Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for office visitors, coordinate division supply ordering, and maintain smooth day-to-day administrative operations. The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves) To succeed on day one, candidates must meet the following hard requirements: Sage Mastery: Proven, hands‑on experience running financial processes in Sage 100 . (Note: QuickBooks or Peachtree experience alone will not be sufficient for this system environment). Proven Scale Experience: Previous background managing financial administration and bookkeeper duties for a company with 100 to 200 employees . Core Accounting Knowledge: At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger structures, and GAAP principles. 100% On-Site Availability: Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on‑site. Fleet / Regulatory Exposure: Familiarity handling DMV registrations, fleet licensing, or commercial compliance documentation is strongly preferred. Why Apply?
