Work Environment The work setting is primarily remote, allowing the LPC to engage with clients through digital platforms while maintaining flexibility in their daily schedule. Despite the remote nature, Clear Mind Psychological Services encourages a collaborative culture, where regular communication with team members ensures continuity of care and professional support. The full-time schedule is typically Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the occasional need for evening or weekend sessions to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, using evidence-based methodologies. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at achieving clients’ therapeutic goals. Provide a range of therapeutic services such as individual, couples, and group counseling, ensuring utilization of appropriate interventions tailored to diverse client backgrounds. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, participating in case conferences to discuss treatment strategies and overall client wellbeing. Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of all sessions. Engage in continuous professional development through regular supervision, workshops, and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and techniques. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population represents a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health challenges, including adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. The LPC will play a key role in addressing these issues by fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their difficulties and develop coping strategies. By drawing on various therapeutic techniques, the LPC will help clients navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve improved mental health outcomes. Qualifications A valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy in mental health settings. Thorough knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and an ability to apply them effectively in treatment. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients and team members. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining strict confidentiality of client information. Preferred Experience While a valid LPC license and a Master’s degree are essential, candidates with additional certifications or training in trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or specific therapeutic approaches (such as CBT or DBT) will be preferred. Experience working within community health settings or with underserved populations will also be highly regarded, as the LPC will be expected to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of diverse clients. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
