Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, creating tailored treatment plans that meet individual recovery goals.
• Utilize contemporary therapeutic techniques and modalities including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Provide both in-person and, when necessary, virtual physical therapy sessions, ensuring continuity of care regardless of the medium.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention strategies, and exercise regimens to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Consistently track and analyze patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based upon feedback and outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records, documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing their recovery experience, enabling them to regain strength and mobility while minimizing pain and discomfort.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current and valid physical therapy license to practice in California.
