Our team is known for its collaborative culture, strong resident relationships, and dedication to helping both residents and employees thrive.Responsibilities:Prepare and serve menu items according to production sheets, standardized recipes, therapeutic diets, and modified food consistenciesEnsure proper food handling, portion control, storage, labeling, dating, and temperature monitoring in accordance with food safety regulationsAssist with inventory management, stocking, and proper storage of food and suppliesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen while following infection control, sanitation, and safety proceduresPrepare meals for special events and functions as neededMonitor kitchen equipment and report hazards, maintenance concerns, accidents, or incidentsProvide guidance and oversight to Dietary Aides in the absence of supervisory staffSupport quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility policies and proceduresRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary School graduate preferredMinimum experience requirement: 6 months working in a kitchenKnowledge of therapeutic diets, modified food consistencies, portion control, and food safety practices preferredFamiliarity with HACCP regulations and safe food handling procedures preferredStrong communication, teamwork, and customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standardsCommitment to providing excellent service to residents, families, and staffBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsQualificationsEducationRequired: High School or better.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
