Job Title: Registered Nurse (ICU) Location: Las Cruces, NM Employment Type: Full-Time Openings: 1 We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (ICU) to join our critical careteam in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor complex conditions, and respond swiftly in high-acuity situations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU Continuously monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatment Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventions Operate and monitor critical care equipment (ventilators, monitors, etc.) Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectations Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards Must-Have Qualifications Active RN License in the state of New Mexico Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire Nice-To-Have Qualifications 1+ year of ICU (Critical Care) experience 1+ year of overall nursing experience Required Skills Strong critical care and patient monitoring skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases Education & Certification Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Active RN License (New Mexico) BLS Certification (required) ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire) Work Environment Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) High-acuity, fast-paced environment Collaborative multidisciplinary team
