Prep Team Member for Zaxby's

The Prep Team Member prepares ingredients and products needed for daily restaurant operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring the restaurant is prepared for service and that products are properly prepared, labeled, stored, and rotated. Essential Responsibilities Complete assigned daily food-preparation tasks. Wash and prepare produce as required. Portion ingredients and products according to established standards. Prepare sauces, salads, toppings, and other assigned products. Follow recipes and portion-control standards. Label, date, rotate, and properly store prepared products. Follow FIFO procedures. Maintain clean and sanitized preparation surfaces. Prevent cross-contamination. Monitor product freshness and report quality concerns. Maintain organized refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas. Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when assigned. Maintain appropriate prep levels based on anticipated business volume. Follow all food-safety and sanitation requirements. Qualifications Previous food-preparation experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow recipes and preparation procedures.
