Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

TLC

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Shift type: 12-hour variable day shifts (Sunday–Saturday)
Example shift times: 0630–1900, 0930–2200, 1030–2300
Call: Estimated 70–90 hours call per 6-week period
Weekend shifts required

Minimum 2 years of OR experience required; preferred 3 years
RN license (CA) required
BCLS (Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support) required
ACLS certification preferred
Current LA Fire Card (candidate expense) required
Experience with procedures: general, orthopedic/spine, robotics, vascular, OB/GYN, ophthalmic, plastics, urology

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management
Perform preoperative assessments and coordinate care plans
Maintain sterile field and assist in surgical procedures
Monitor patient vitals and administer required interventions
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices

Background and licensure checks required
Must work 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day
Parking free for staff
Scrubs: Navy blue (provided for specific units)
