Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule:
- Shift type: 12-hour variable day shifts (Sunday-Saturday)
- Example shift times: 0630-1900, 0930-2200, 1030-2300
- Call: Estimated 70-90 hours call per 6-week period
- Weekend shifts required

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required; preferred 3 years
- Required: RN license (CA)
- Required: BCLS (Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support)
- Preferred: ACLS certification
- Additional required credential: Current LA Fire Card (candidate expense)
- Experience with procedures: general, orthopedic/spine, robotics, vascular, OB/GYN, ophthalmic, plastics, urology

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management
- Perform preoperative assessments and coordinate care plans
- Maintain sterile field and assist in surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and administer required interventions
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices

Compliance / Notes:
- Background and licensure checks required
- Must work 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day
- Parking free for staff
- Scrubs: Navy blue (provided for specific units)
