Job Description

A growing distribution company in Prospect Heights is seeking a reliable and experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong warehouse experience who value a stable weekday schedule.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay:

$19.50 per hour

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
Experience operating:
Stand-Up Forklift
Cherry Picker
Reach Truck
English proficiency required
Strong attendance and punctuality are essential; attendance is closely monitored

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks safely and efficiently
Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately
Load and unload trucks and trailers
Weigh materials/products and record weights for production tags and labels
Palletize, stage, and label products for shipment
Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy
Inspect products and shipments to ensure quality and order accuracy
Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and fueling vehicles and machinery
