Job Title: Senior Principal Consultant – Enterprise Data Strategy (BNY Vault)
Location: New York City, NY (Onsite)
Duration: Contract
We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant to advise executive leadership at a leading Asset & Wealth Management organization on defining a next-generation enterprise data platform and operating model. This strategic role will help shape a market-leading data product vision comparable to industry solutions such as BNY Vault , driving competitive advantage, business growth, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on enterprise data strategy and transformation.
Lead market assessments and benchmark enterprise data platforms, including BNY Vault and similar industry-leading solutions.
Evaluate current-state capabilities and identify strategic gaps, opportunities, and differentiators.
Define target-state data product vision, operating model, governance framework, and business capabilities.
Facilitate executive workshops and develop strategic recommendations and investment roadmaps.
Create multi-year transformation plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise data strategy, product strategy, or business transformation within the Financial Services industry.
7+ years of experience supporting Wealth Management, Asset Management, Custody, Asset Servicing, or Capital Markets organizations.
Proven experience advising senior executives on strategic transformation initiatives.
Strong expertise in enterprise data products, operating models, governance, and information services.
Required Skills
BNY Vault Expertise
Hands-on experience with BNY Vault or a comparable enterprise data platform.
Deep understanding of enterprise data aggregation, governance, distribution, servicing, and analytics capabilities.
Ability to assess market-leading data platforms and translate insights into strategic business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Experience delivering strategy consulting engagements for large financial institutions.
Knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud platforms, and data product management practices.
