Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP Group Reporting Consultant on behalf of our client in Remote location. We are looking for an experienced SAP professional with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, financial consolidation, intercompany elimination, currency translation, and SAP Finance integration .

The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and IT stakeholders to design, configure, implement, and support scalable Group Reporting solutions and financial consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting solutions.

• Configure consolidation models, consolidation units, consolidation groups, reporting dimensions, hierarchies, and financial statement structures.

• Support end-to-end consolidation processes, including:

  • Data collection

  • Currency translation

  • Intercompany matching and elimination

  • Consolidation of investments

  • Consolidation adjustments

  • Validations and elimination rules

  • Consolidated financial reporting

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and close activities.

• Develop and maintain consolidation, validation, and elimination rules.

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/GL and Group Reporting .

• Support financial data integration from SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP source systems.

• Analyze master data, data mapping, financial data, and reporting requirements.

• Perform reconciliation between source financial data and consolidated results.

• Troubleshoot configuration, integration, consolidation, and reporting issues.

• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams on enhancements and integrations.

• Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and production activities.

• Develop functional documentation, test scenarios, and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Assist with SAP Group Reporting enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting .

• Strong understanding of financial consolidation and corporate/group reporting processes.

• Experience configuring consolidation groups, consolidation units, dimensions, hierarchies, and reporting structures.

• Hands-on expertise with intercompany matching and eliminations .

• Experience with currency translation, consolidation adjustments, validations, and elimination logic .

• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance / FI-GL integration .

• Experience with consolidated financial statements and financial reporting structures.

• Strong understanding of master and transactional data used in group consolidation.

• Experience troubleshooting SAP Group Reporting configuration and data issues.

• Good understanding of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes .

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA financial data integration and reporting.

• Strong requirements gathering and functional documentation skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Group Reporting with non-SAP financial data sources .

• Experience supporting complex enterprise or global financial consolidation environments.

• Experience with SAP Group Reporting upgrades, enhancements, or transformation initiatives.
