Applicants can learn more about the organization and its services at Role Description The Billing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hickory, NC. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing cycle, including generating and reviewing invoices, processing client billing, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all billing activities. The role involves verifying patient and facility information, reconciling accounts, addressing billing discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues. The Billing Specialist will respond to billing inquiries from clients and facilities, maintain detailed records, support month-end reporting, and follow established accounting and compliance standards. The role requires consistent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing reliable billing support for pharmacy operations. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Billing Process and Client Billing to manage and execute accurate, timely billing for pharmacy services. Candidates should possess skills in Invoicing to prepare, review, and correct invoices while maintaining compliance with facility requirements and policies. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting to reconcile accounts, support reporting, and ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact professionally with facilities, internal teams, and patients’ representatives regarding billing questions and issues. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in healthcare or pharmacy billing, familiarity with long-term care or assisted living settings, and proficiency with billing or accounting software. Additional beneficial qualifications include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, reliability in meeting deadlines, and a customer-service mindset.
