Job Summary:

Mon Valley Healthcare is seeking a talented and highly organized Receptionist to join our team in Monongahela, PA. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience at our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, answering questions and providing direction as needed
• Manage and maintain reception area, including answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate personnel
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including scheduling appointments and updating patient information
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
• Provide support to other departments as needed, including drafting correspondence and creating reports
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
