Make a lasting impact supporting K-5 students in a dynamic school environment. This contract position for a School Psychologist offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to create positive educational experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working within school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of student assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP development
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-5 students
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and support strategies
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals regarding student progress and best practices
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior and mental health
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
