About the Role Location: Fully remote (DMV preferred, not required) Team: 35-person nonprofit FAO practice Reason for Opening: Continued practice growth and long-term succession planning Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple nonprofit clients Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Ensure accurate fund accounting and grant compliance Assist with audit preparation and external auditor coordination Supervise and mentor accounting staff within a multi-client environment Partner with leadership on process improvements and technology optimization initiatives Qualifications 7–10+ years of accounting/finance experience Strong nonprofit accounting experience (fund accounting, grants, donor restrictions) Prior outsourced accounting, or public accounting experience preferred Experience reviewing work and managing staff CPA preferred Experience with systems such as Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
