Job Description We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and driving operational excellence. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional accounting, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, includingAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, project accounting, and general ledger functions. Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals throughperformance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning. Providetraining, mentorship, and leadershipto foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Manage themonth-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and approval of journal entries. Assist in the preparation and analysis ofmonthly financial statements; collaborate with business unit leaders to address inquiries and provide insights. Review account reconciliations and support staff in resolving discrepancies. Identify and implementprocess improvements and automation initiativesto enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Supportexternal audits, tax engagements, and system implementationsas needed. Ensure compliance withregulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting policies. Partner with Finance Business Partners to analyzebudget and forecast variances. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum of5 years of accounting experience(public accounting or private industry) Strong knowledge ofU.S. GAAP Demonstrated experience inteam leadership and staff development Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communicationskills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting CPA or CMA certification Experience withconstruction accounting, including job costing and WIP reporting Familiarity withaccounting automation toolsand process optimization Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite; experience withMicrosoft Dynamics 365is a plus Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
