Account Executive, Membership Sales

Are you passionate about sports and excited to launch a career in sales? D.C. United is looking for energetic, motivated, and curious individuals to join our team as Account Executive, Membership Sales. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to continue learning, growing, and building a successful career in the sports industry. As an Account Executive, you'll be on the front lines of our ticket sales teamlearning from experienced leaders, connecting with fans, and selling full season, partial plan, and group tickets for D.C. United home matches at Audi Field. If you're an experienced seller looking to get into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you. You'll receive top-tier sales training, mentorship, and professional development from day one.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn and apply best-in-class outbound sales techniques through personalized training and daily coaching.
  • Make a high volume of outbound phone calls, texts, emails, and social touches to engage new potential ticket buyers.
  • Sell full season, partial plan, and group ticket packages to individuals and organizations.
  • Build relationships with fans and organizations across the D.C. area and beyond.
  • Represent D.C. United at home games, networking events, and community initiatives.
  • Use CRM tools to track activity, sales progress, and manage your sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with teammates to create a fun, competitive, and supportive sales environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience in professional/collegiate sports, specifically related to season ticket sales, group sales, premium sales or customer service/retention
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for sports and a desire to build a career in the business of sports.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass a background check.
