Program Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Program Lead to join their team. As a Program Lead, you will be part of the IT department supporting strategic technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Program Lead (Hadoop or Cloud Migration)


Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: 78/hr

What's the Job?

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs within the financial markets sector.
• Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Coordinate across business, technology, and control teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
• Oversee program governance, including reporting, status updates, and regulatory compliance.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, partnering with developers and architects.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of global markets and products such as equities, FX, and derivatives.
• Good experience with Hadoop or AWS cloud migration.
• Experience delivering programs using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Ability to work with data environments, including ETL processes, database structures, and Big Data platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
