Project Field Engineer

We are working with a growing commercial construction group in the Oklahoma City market that is looking to add a Field Engineer to their team. This is a hands‑on role that connects the plans to the work in the field and plays a key part in keeping projects accurate and on track. Position Overview The Field Engineer supports field operations by ensuring layout, alignment, and quality are executed correctly. This role works closely with the Superintendent and trade partners to translate construction documents into real‑world results on the jobsite. Key Responsibilities Assist with layout and establish building control on site Support QA/QC efforts across all phases of construction Work closely with field leadership to ensure work is installed per plans Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain accuracy and flow of work Track and document as-builts for utilities and key building components Verify alignment, elevations, and placement of structural and interior elements Maintain clear communication with the project team Areas of Focus Site work and grading Foundations and anchor bolts Underground and in‑wall utilities Interior layout and framing Overhead layout and ceiling systems Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and submittals Experience with layout tools such as total station, laser level, or similar equipment Familiarity with Procore or similar construction software Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in the field Understanding of basic construction safety standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
