Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the Property industry. Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine costs. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting. Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities. Provide input on project schedules and timelines based on cost analysis. Maintain up-to-date records of estimates and project budgets. Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information. Support the Construction department in decision-making with precise data and analysis.

The Successful Applicant
Direct estimating experience within commercial carpentry/interiors construction. Experience estimating: Division 05400-COLD FORM METAL FRAMING, Division 07200-THERMAL AND MOISTURE PROTECTION, Division 09200-PLASTER AND GYPSUM BOARD, Division 09500-ACOUSTIC CEILINGS/SPECIALITY CEILINGS, Commercial drywall, Commercial ceilings, Framing, Finishing. Hands-on experience with estimating software such as OST/Quick Bid, BuzzBid, or similar. Commercial construction estimating background is required. High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field, such as construction management or building science preferred. Ability to work 100% onsite, Monday-Friday (no hybrid or remote).
