Assurance Senior Associate [Manufacturing and Distribution] Location: Chicago, Illinois We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Manufacturing and Distribution team located in our Chicago office. As a hybrid firm, we expect team members to alternate time between remote and office. Your role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules. Develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals. Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, providing regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills. Gain the respect and confidence of the team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear, concise direction and leadership. Your experience The successful candidate will have: 3+ years' experience in a reputable public accounting firm. Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting. CPA or eligibility to sit for the exam. Manufacturing and Distribution industry experience is a plus. Knowledge of audit software (e.g., CCH Engagement) or other software is a plus.
