Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) Full-Time

We're seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department in Traverse City, MI. This is an outstanding opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with leadership experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a post-acute/skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the rehabilitation department
• Supervise and support PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, and SLPs
• Mentor clinicians while promoting quality patient outcomes
• Monitor productivity, clinical outcomes, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, PDPM, state, and federal regulations
• Partner with facility leadership to achieve operational and clinical excellence
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and program development

Qualifications

• Licensed PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP in the State of Michigan (or eligible for licensure)
• Previous rehabilitation management or leadership experience preferred
• Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing (SNF), inpatient rehabilitation, or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
