Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role also provides guidance and support to the accounting team.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required.Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, technology, SaaS, FMCG, or other sales-driven environment.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial controls.Experience reviewing contracts, financial terms, and payment milestones.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and strong financial controls.Fluent in English.Preferred QualificationsCPA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA.Proficiency in Mandarin.Knowledge of inventory accounting and standard costing.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.Experience working in a fast-paced, growing, or international organization is a plus.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Sales Director and regional teams as the primary finance business partner.Conduct gross margin analysis by product, customer segment, and sales channel.Manage budgeting and forecasting for the sales division, including revenue targets and expenses.Prepare monthly management and financial reports.Oversee sales commission and bonus calculations, approvals, and payouts.Lead the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and timely resolution of discrepancies.Manage accounts receivable aging and customer credit limits to minimize financial risk and improve collections.Maintain internal controls related to sales order processing and cash application.Forecast cash inflows based on customer payment and collection cycles.Partner with Sales to address payment delays and improve cash conversion.Oversee inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and system records.What We OfferCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) planOpportunities for career growth
