PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN Skilled Nursing Facility | Venice, FL The Palms at Venice in Venice, Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Position Responsibilities

- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising OT
- Assist residents with improving ADLs, strength, coordination, and functional mobility
- Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress
- Observe and report resident responses, progress, and any changes in condition
- Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Follow established care plans and comply with all regulatory guidelines
- Current Florida COTA license (required)
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while following OT supervision guidelines
- Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes
