Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Estimator role based in New York, NY. The Construction Estimator will prepare detailed estimates and budgets for commercial renovation, fit-out, and design-build projects, collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and engineers. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotes, and developing cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment. The role also involves updating estimates as designs evolve, tracking cost changes, supporting value engineering, and contributing to bid proposals and presentations. The Construction Estimator will communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate pricing, realistic schedules, and alignment with client requirements.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs.
- Candidates should possess solid Cost Management and Budgeting skills.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with commercial construction projects, including renovations, fit-outs, and design-build work, is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools, as well as reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY and manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
