As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and assist passengers, visitors, and employees with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:15 AM - 01:45 PMSun05:15 AM - 01:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, platforms, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related policy violations. Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
