Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Walterboro, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with flexible scheduling options: M-F (5 x 8) or (4 x 10). Requires working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient rehab setting, focusing on providing one-on-one patient care. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to learn, with responsibilities including evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs.
• Document patient progress using the Meditech documentation system.
• Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Basic Occupational Therapy skills as an independent clinician required.
• Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required.
