Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland teaching certificate with Vision endorsement (MSDE)
• Skill in Braille highly desirable; placements will be optimized per candidate strengths
• Must provide images of relevant licenses and certifications
• Willingness to complete required district background/fingerprinting and employment history review
• Experience supporting K-12 students with visual impairments

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver vision services across a cluster of schools as outlined in IEPs
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings virtually, while remaining on campus
• Adapt and individualize instruction based on student needs and placement
• Collaborate with existing Vision and Orientation/Mobility professionals
• Maintain detailed records and support ongoing educational goals
