Position: Production Planner
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Duration: 12+ months

Job Summary:
The Production Planner will support production planning activities to ensure material availability, production continuity, and on-time delivery. The role requires strong analytical skills, MRP knowledge, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with customer demand and manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor MRP settings, safety stock, reorder points, lead times, and capacity requirements.
• Analyze production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Generate reports/dashboards to support Production Planning and Operations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material and capacity constraints.
• Maintain ERP planning data accuracy and support process improvements.
• Perform production scheduling, supply-demand balancing, and root cause analysis for shortages or delays.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Supply Chain Management.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of MRP and production planning principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, data analysis).
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
• SAP experience (S/4HANA or ECC; PP/MM modules preferred) – highly desired.
• APICS CPIM certification.
• Power BI/Tableau experience.
• Palantir Foundry or similar analytics platforms. \nCompany Description
