Marketing Assistant

Geary Pacific Corporation is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different types of marketing and loves bringing ideas to life. You'll help develop and distribute marketing campaigns, support product promotions and events, create digital content, manage social media, and help communicate the Geary Pacific brand to both customers and employees.

You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, Product Managers, Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and our Culture team—giving you the opportunity to see how marketing supports every part of the business.

What You'll Do

• Help plan and execute marketing campaigns across print, email, web, social media, and digital channels.
• Build and maintain a rolling marketing calendar to coordinate upcoming product promotions and initiatives.
• Partner with Product Managers, Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to develop marketing materials for events, promotions, and special offers.
• Create and manage monthly Product of the Month materials, including signage, graphics, website banners, and display concepts.
• Coordinate the production of Geary Pacific's annual vendor-sponsored desktop calendar.
• Help develop seasonal product specials catalogs in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Create and manage targeted email marketing campaigns for specific customer groups.
• Manage and maintain the company's social media presence with fresh, engaging content.
• Monitor social channels and respond promptly and professionally to customer comments and engagement.
• Create weekly blog content aligned with product seasonality, promotions, and company initiatives.
• Help keep website content and the online product catalog current, including product images, descriptions, specifications, documentation, and related products.
• Create short videos and digital content for online and internal use.
• Prepare, print, and distribute marketing materials to branches.
• Support external sales partners with marketing materials and communications for their customers.
• Track marketing campaigns and promotions and help measure results through internal reporting and sales data.
• Support Culture initiatives that communicate the Geary Pacific employee experience to current and future team members.
• Take on special projects and other marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and OneNote.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Glassdoor.
• Basic video editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and positive communication style.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and content creation.
• Interest in learning Geary Pacific's products and the HVAC industry.
