Senior Accounting Manager

Senior Accounting Manager – Consolidations Location: New York, NY 10036 Duration: 6+ months of contract with possible extension Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $70.00/hr Job Summary Responsible for managing monthly and quarterly financial consolidation activities, preparing consolidation adjustments, ensuring data integrity, and supporting financial reporting and audit processes. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly/quarterly close and consolidation processes for multiple entities. Prepare consolidating journal entries, including intercompany eliminations. Analyze financial submissions and perform rollforward and validation reviews. Maintain chart of accounts accuracy, FCC metadata, and reporting integrity. Prepare key analyses such as Gross Profit, APIC, and retained earnings. Support preparation of quarterly Financial Actuals Book and assist with 10-Q/10-K proofing. Work with external auditors on quarterly/year-end audit requirements. Provide financial analysis, commentary, and support ad hoc management requests. Maintain consolidation task tracker and ensure data quality across systems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA required. 3–6 years of relevant accounting and consolidation experience. Strong understanding of accounting cycles, audit processes, and financial statement analysis. Advanced Excel skills. Strong communication and analytical abilities; self-starter with high attention to detail. Experience with Oracle FCC and/or SAP is a plus.
