We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information and leveraging technology to streamline our processes.The Midstream Revenue Accounting team plays a critical role within Energy Transfer by connecting commercial agreements, operational activities, and financial reporting across the midstream business. The team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlement, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting of services provided to producers and customers. Through strong financial controls, contract compliance, and cross-functional collaboration, the team helps safeguard revenue integrity and deliver reliable financial information to management and stakeholders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: Analyze and interpret complex midstream contracts and commercial agreements to ensure correct settlement with producers and shippers.Review customer settlement calculations and adjustments assisting in customer disputes and revenue-related issuesMaintain and strengthen SOX controls over revenue processes by developing standardized procedures and documentation.Develop staff through training, knowledge sharing, succession planning, and ongoing professional development opportunities.Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanationsLead initiatives to improve revenue accounting processes and system automation.Key AttributesBuilds trusted relationships across teams and functions while serving as a reliable advocate and role model for direct reports Demonstrates ownership and initiative by leading meetings, resolving complex issues, and driving results with minimal oversight Effectively communicates leadership’s vision, aligning team goals with organizational priorities and contributing forward-thinking ideas Fosters a positive, inclusive team environment through active listening, direct communication, and support for diverse perspectives Champions change and continuous improvement by developing team capabilities, providing coaching, and recognizing contributions Maintains high standards of integrity and accountability by setting clear expectations, following through on commitments, and ensuring team alignment Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including manufacturing, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience.Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.Experience gathering, reviewing, processing, and maintaining contracts and contract-related financial information.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Working ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Usually, normal office working condition Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing Occasional overnight travel may be required
