Assembler I

Job Title Pay Range: $15hr - $20hr Requirement/Must Have 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Responsibilities Operates equipment used to manufacture products. Assembles, checks, and inspects products against departmental procedures. Responsible for recognizing product or equipment problems that arise during the manufacturing process and escalating to Line Lead or Supervisor. May be required to assist with the set-up and the clean-up of manufacturing equipment. Active participation in Lean Initiatives. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices. Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility. Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies. Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of Quality. Perform other duties and projects, as assigned. Skills Management System per ISO. FDA compliance. Education and Experience Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods. Candidate may conduct repetitive movements including push/pull moving of product as needed. No heavy lifting is required. Area does require occasional bending, stooping, and movement of completed product from one area to another. Comfortable closed toe shoes are required.
