Position Overview

\n

The Fastener Sales Professional will focus on growing sales through fastener distributors across the United States. This role serves as a key point of contact for distributor partners, helping them win business through competitive pricing, strong technical support, and dependable U.S.-based production capabilities.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop and expand relationships with new and existing fastener distributors
\n
• Identify opportunities to convert imported or competitor business to MultiTech’s domestic custom cold heading capabilities
\n
• Work closely with distributor partners to understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions
\n
• Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to support complex custom fastener projects
\n
• Achieve and exceed sales targets within the distribution channel
\n
• Represent the company at trade shows and other industry events
\n
• Provide market feedback to support product strategy, capacity planning, and business development efforts
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Proven experience selling fasteners, preferably custom or specialty fasteners, into the distribution channel
\n
• Strong understanding of the fastener industry and distributor sales model
\n
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand cold heading, thread rolling, and secondary operations
\n
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and account-development skills
\n
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently
\n
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with distributors and attend industry events
\n
• Experience using CRM tools and sales forecasting systems
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships with fastener distributors

• Experience selling domestically manufactured custom fastener solutions

• Ability to position technical and service advantages against imported competition
