Technical Project ManagerDuration: 12 Months Monday - Friday 8am to 5pmThe Technical Project Manager will lead the execution of multiple industrialization and manufacturing readiness projects within a highly matrixed organization. This role is critical in bridging machine installation through full operational readiness, coordinating schedules, resources, and interdependencies across technical and support teams.The role requires a hands on, technically grounded project manager with strong schedule integration capability and advanced Smartsheet proficiency, capable of influencing across functions without direct authority.Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Schedule IntegrationLead multiple concurrent industrialization projects, including line modifications for capacity increases and new line installations for expanded capabilitiesIntegrate multiple complex schedules (e.g., machine installation, tooling, programming, qualification) into a single master project planIdentify and actively manage critical path interdependencies across teams and workstreamsSmartsheet Architecture & ReportingBuild and maintain Smartsheet project architectures from scratch, including templates, automated workflows, and dashboardsProvide real time visibility to schedule health, constraints, and risks for leadership and stakeholdersServe as the Smartsheet "power user" for complex, multi line industrialization programsIndustrialization & Operational ReadinessLead scheduling and coordination for machine start up, process development, programming, tooling, fixtures, and part qualificationEnsure alignment between engineering deliverables and manufacturing readinessDrive disciplined handoff from project execution to production ownershipCross Functional Coordination (Matrixed Environment)Act as the central execution "hub" across CAPEX, CAD/CAM, Deployment, Development, Quality, and Fixture / Part Movement teamsCoordinate daily across technical and support organizations with shared resourcesResolve priority and resource conflicts through influence and data driven tradeoffsResource, Risk & Procurement ManagementIdentify resource bottlenecks and negotiate solutions to protect project milestonesTrack procurement timing and delivery of tooling, fixtures, and other critical purchased itemsProactively adjust schedules based on supplier push/pull to minimize impact to start up datesCommunication & GovernanceFacilitate regular project status and execution reviewsProvide clear, actionable updates to technical experts, manufacturing leaders, and stakeholders who will ultimately own the processesDrive structured issue resolution and escalation as neededRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (general technical degree acceptable)Minimum 5–10 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentDemonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneouslyDesired CharacteristicsPMP certification strongly preferredStrong influential leadership skills in a matrixed organizationAbility to manage complex interdependencies without direct budget or people authorityComfortable operating in a fast paced shop floor environmentHighly organized, execution focused, and data drivenStrong understanding of manufacturing processes; experience in Aerospace or Power Generation preferredTechnical skills Must haveAutomation Project ManagementBachelor's degree (Engineering/Math/Science degree preferred) or equivalent knowledge/ experience.
