About the Position

The registered nurse will work in an outpatient clinic setting. The nurse will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with GI oncology diagnoses. Daily visits are expected to total around 125. The documentation system in use is EPIC. Key responsibilities include starting IVs, performing laboratory tests such as blood glucose monitoring, and patient teaching. Skills required include CPR, specimen collection, and emergency medication administration. The nurse should be familiar with chart preparation and the ability to obtain vital signs. Experience with pain assessment and triage is beneficial. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Candidates must understand the urgency of completing required credentialing processes. Professional references are required for submission. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution.
