About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must pass the telemetry test - Experience in monitoring telemetry patients - Epic experience required Description: The nurse must have experience in general nursing skills such as IV starts, monitoring, lab work, medication administration, and patient education. Candidates should be proficient in blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias. Knowledge of isolation precautions, intravenous insulin protocols, and non-invasive airway management is required. Experience with telemetry monitoring, both unit and remote, is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and possess skills in wound care and phlebotomy. This position may require floating to other areas as needed. Compliance with fingerprinting and credentialing processes is mandatory upon signing the contract. Two professional references are required, with at least one being from a leadership position. Candidates must be aware of the urgency regarding credentialing and compliance deadlines.
