About the Position

Job Title: Travel Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night rotation, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA Certifications only) Must-Have: IV Start Telemetry Ventilators Intracranial Pressure Monitoring Epic experience preferred Description: Position available for a Neuro ICU Travel Nurse. Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. The patient ratio is estimated at 1:1-2. Floating to other units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Latest certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. Experience with IV starts, telemetry, mechanical ventilators, and ICP monitoring is essential. Candidates with previous travel experience are preferred. The patient population includes individuals with strokes, seizures, and neuromuscular diseases. Invasive neuromonitoring and ventilator management experience are necessary. This role involves performing bedside procedures, including tracheostomy and EVD placement. Candidates must possess skills in managing critical care patients and emergency medications. Professional references are required from prior positions. Candidates will need to complete the required credentialing processes promptly.
