About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Progressive Care Unit or Med-Surg License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BCLS and ACLS certifications required Must-Have: - Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation - EPIC experience Description: Schedule consists of 3x12-hour rotating shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekdays and some weekends are required. Rotating holidays are mandatory. Traveler will be required to float to different units as needed. This unit focuses on lower acuity cardiac care. Cardiac experience is preferred. Patient ratios are 1:3-4. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions and administer medications. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Travelers who float to units of similar or lower acuity may be needed. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses seeking to further their careers.
