About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - IV start skills - Telemetry experience - Intermediate nursing skills - Epic charting experience - Previous travel experience preferred Description: Traveler will be required to float to different units as needed. Patient diagnoses include nephrology, urology (both surgical and non-surgical), and benign hematology. The unit consists of 27 beds. The expected patient ratios are 1:4 to 1:5. Candidates must possess skills in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias. Experience in monitoring chemotherapy and non-invasive airway management is required. Familiarity with telemetry is essential. The unit offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Candidates must have the ability to meet the needs of adult patients.
