Addison Group is partnering with a well-established legal services organization seeking an experienced legal professional to support a busy collections and litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong legal administrative and document preparation experience.

Job Description:

The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling collections and litigation matters. This position plays a critical role in case management, legal document preparation, court filings, deadline tracking, and communication with various parties involved in the legal process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate a high volume of active collections and litigation files
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, debtors, attorneys, court personnel, and other external parties
• Monitor case activity and maintain accurate calendars for hearings, filings, and other critical deadlines
• Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, complaints, motions, correspondence, and related materials
• Submit filings with courts and county offices and coordinate service of process activities
• Maintain organized case records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle by managing administrative and procedural requirements
• Assist with legal research, file management, and other litigation support functions as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal
• Strong background supporting collections, civil litigation, or related legal practices preferred
• Experience drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and court-related documents
• Knowledge of court filing procedures and litigation timelines
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
