Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, strategic, and compassionate Billing Manager to lead our Billing department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional financial experience for our guests. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, thrives on improving systems, and is driven by results. You will oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) performance, lead a growing team, and build scalable processes that support the continued growth of the practice. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while elevating both team performance and the guest experience. Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Leadership Oversee end-to-end billing operations, including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and collections. Monitor and take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AR days, denial rates, and collections. Ensure compliance with coding standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Accounts Receivable (AR) Oversight Own AR performance, including timely follow-up on outstanding claims and balances. Drive strategies to reduce aging AR and improve cash flow. Oversee resolution of complex billing discrepancies, denials, and appeals. Ensure accurate payment posting and reconciliation of financial transactions. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop Billing team members, fostering accountability and growth. Establish clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards aligned with EOS. Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews. Guest Financial Experience Ensure a high-touch, compassionate approach to all guest billing interactions. Oversee resolution of escalated billing concerns with professionalism and care. Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure a seamless experience. Process Improvement & Strategy Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency. Partner with leadership to develop reporting tools and financial tracking systems aligned with EOS. Standardize and document billing processes to support scalability and consistency. Requirements Experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare finance (leadership experience preferred). Strong understanding of insurance claims, reimbursement processes, and AR management. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with financial data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, guest-centered approach. Comfortable working with EMRs, billing platforms, and spreadsheets.
