Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee design and analysis of freeways, interstates, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and multimodal facilities.
• Prepare and review studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation design and planning projects.
• Prepare detailed project work scopes, fee estimates, schedules, and delivery plans that ensure excellence.
• Guide and manage teams of talented project and design engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Champion business development and marketing efforts, resulting in the acquisition of new projects.
• Nurture long-term client relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 12+ years of experience in the design of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and multimodal facilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
• A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs that support our client's overall project goals.
• Proficiency and familiarity with industry related software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
• Experience with Colorado DOT (or other state DOT) plan preparation procedures and standards.

Licenses/Registrations:

Active Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to transfer a license from another state within 6 months of hire.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $170,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on education, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
