Compensation: $125,000 to $160,000
This is an opportunity to join an established electrical contractor to lead complex electrical construction projects across commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and leading project teams through delivery.
What You'll Do
This role manages all phases of electrical construction projects, from budgeting and pre-construction through closeout, and leads project teams including engineers and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. The project manager oversees electrical system installations such as UPS systems, emergency power, fire alarm systems, data networking, and communication wiring, and works across regulated environments including healthcare facilities, chemical plants, and data centers. Typical projects include commercial fit-outs, hospitals and healthcare facilities, medical office buildings, assisted living facilities, data centers, and chemical plants. The role also involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships and working within design/build project delivery methods.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the electrical construction industry (not general construction)
- Proven track record as a Project Manager on large-scale electrical construction projects
- Strong portfolio of commercial, healthcare, institutional, and industrial projects
- Understanding of design/build project delivery methods
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background as an Electrical Project Manager or MEP Project Manager
- Experience managing UPS systems and emergency power generators
- Experience with fire alarm system installations
- Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or chemical plants
