Cook – Kiddie Academy of Northwest Las Vegas Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights or Weekends Kiddie Academy of Northwest Las Vegas is looking for a reliable, organized, and child‑focused Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years while supporting our Family Style Dining approach. You will operate the kitchen independently until enrollment growth supports adding an assistant. What You’ll Do Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks following Kiddie Academy menus and portion guidelines Support Family Style Dining by preparing food in classroom‑ready serving containers Follow all Nevada Child Care Licensing food safety and sanitation requirements Maintain a clean, organized kitchen with daily/weekly/monthly cleaning routines Track inventory, prepare weekly order lists, and receive/store deliveries Prepare allergy‑safe meals and maintain accurate allergy documentation Communicate with leadership and teachers to ensure timely meal service What We’re Looking For Experience in a childcare, school, or commercial kitchen preferred Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation Ability to work independently and manage time well Reliable, organized, and committed to child wellness Must pass all Nevada Child Care Licensing background checks Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Why Join Our Team Monday–Friday schedule Supportive leadership and positive work culture Opportunity to grow into a lead kitchen role as the center expands Make a meaningful impact on children’s daily experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Kiddie-Academy-1
